Korean Curatorial Team: Main Exhibition Curator

Hyeyoung Gwak is a Seoul-based curator and researcher with a background in sculpture and art history. Her academic training, combined with a deep interest in the dynamics of the contemporary art scene, has led her to engage in a wide range of projects spanning international exchange, curatorial practice, and scholarly research.

She has contributed to various exhibitions and initiatives, including Things Left Unsaid (2016) and the co-curation of Squat Seongsu as part of the [Visual Artist Market] at S-Factory, Seoul (2017). Her research work includes the Gallery Management and Art Distribution Guidebook project (2018), as well as cataloging research on the Yoo Joon-sang Collection for the Seoul Museum of Art Archive Project (2023).
