Jaejoon Chung

Assistant Curator

Jae Joon CHUNG is a translator and a Ph.D. student in Aesthetics at Paris VIII University. He specialized in Photography for his bachelor's degree at Chung-Ang University and in Art Studies for his master's degree at Hongik University.

He worked as a Visiting Researcher for the Digital Archiving Project of Hai Ja BANG in 2020, as a manager for the Decoding Korea exhibition at the Grand Palais Immersif in 2024. He was a national jury member for the CROUS Student Photography Creation Competition in 2024. He has translated two books : François Soulages, Esthétique de la photographie, Seoul : Noonbit, 2019 and Bohnchang KOO & François Soulages, La beauté d’un Tout, Paris : L’Harmattan, 2024.
