Caroline CORBASSON and Andrea MONTANO are Paris-based artists whose practices explore perception, space, and the natural world. CORBASSON draws on astronomy and science through drawing, sculpture, and photography. Montano works with portraiture and atmosphere, blending documentary and editorial styles. Together, they reflect on scale, presence, and visual storytelling. Their collaboration brings material research and poetic image-making into dialogue.
In Tracks, Caroline CORBASSON and Andrea MONTANO explore worlds hidden from human sight, inscribed on the surface of petals. Under black light, traces of pollen—visible to insects and other pollinators who perceive ultraviolet wavelengths—appear as glowing constellations. The prints are made using powdered charcoal as pigment, emphasizing the mineral presence of the image and suggesting a kinship between the botanical and the cosmic.
