Zhi JIANG

Chinese, born in 1971, works in Huan

Zhi JIANG is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography, video, painting, and installation. His work combines personal reflection with poetic and conceptual approaches, often exploring themes such as impermanence, memory, and the emotional dimensions of everyday life. Through subtle visual language, he invites viewers to reflect on the tension between presence and absence.

In Love Letters (2010-2014) a flower in flames is suspended between bloom and ruin. Zhi JIANG captures the brief instant where beauty meets disappearance. Each image is a ritual, a farewell, a devotion. The fire does not erase the flower — it reveals its fragility, its radiance, its transience. A love that burns, but also lights the way toward rebirth.
