Alice PALLOT

French, Born in 1990, works in Paris and Brussel

Alice Pallot combines photography and video to explore ecological questions through poetic and speculative imagery. Drawing on environmental research and fieldwork—such as the study of toxic algal blooms—she creates immersive narratives that reveal the fragile connections between humans and nature. Her work invites reflection on transformation, resilience, and coexistence.

Anoxie verte (2024) explores an evolving micro-ecosystem in an oxygen-deprived environment, where organic matter decomposes and certain forms of life manage to persist. This environment takes on an almost science-fiction quality due to the artificial light Pallot uses. Unseen forms of life become the central subject of an ecosystem immersed in shadow.
